Our Speedicath catheter range

The SpeediCath range offers a wide array of catheters that are instantly ready to use, straight out of their packaging. All SpeediCath catheters have 2 eyelets on the tip of the catheter to drain the urine from the bladder. The eyelets are polished to reduce risk of urethral damage.^1,2

 SpeediCath Compact Female is designed to be discreet and compact.

Our Luja catheter range

Our Luja catheters are designed to reduce the risk of urinary tract infections (UTIs). These catheters enable complete bladder emptying in one position to reduce the risk of UTIs.^3,4,5

Rather than a two-eyelet design, the Luja range uses Micro-hole Zone Technology which enables an uninterrupted and free urine flow^3,4 when emptying the bladder. With the Micro-hole Zone Technology, the flow stops when the bladder is completely empty.^3,4 This means you have a simpler emptying technique compared to conventional catheters with two eyelets as you don’t have to reposition the catheter.

Luja is designed to eliminate the need for repositioning otherwise needed with conventional eyelet catheters. ^11,12

What is Triple Action Coating Technology?

All Luja and SpeediCath catheters have a hydrophilic coating which is based on Triple Action Coating Technology. This technology enables the coating to stay:

• Bonded when you insert and withdraw it – it has an even coating without dry spots.
• Smooth – the topcoat allows good water absorption which ensures low friction, smooth insertion and withdrawal, and reduced discomfort⁶
• Hydrated with a special water-based solution that makes it instantly ready to use

Ultimately, Triple Action Coating Technology reduces the risk of urethral damage^2,6 and enables a reduced risk of urinary tract infections^6,7,8 when you use the catheter.

High-volume TAI with Peristeen Plus
