What is multiple sclerosis?

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks nerves in the brain and spinal cord, causing a wide range of symptoms including fatigue, muscle weakness, numbness or tingling, vision problems, and difficulty with balance or coordination.1

What symptoms can be overlooked?

A hidden symptom of MS that is often overlooked is experiencing bladder or bowel issues. In fact, 4 in 5 people living with MS are affected by bladder issues at some point in their life,2 and more than 7 out of 10 will experience some degree of bowel issue.
